Spending Time with God

Occasionally, we should all think back to the past week to see how much, or rather how little time we spent with God out of the twenty-four hours in the day.  You see, many hours are spent making a living, social life, things done for ourselves.  We spend  a lot of time with our friends on this earth.  How much time do we spend with our best friend in heaven?  We plan for everything: work, play, rest. Do we plan for prayer in our lives?  If not, then we are not in the channels for blessings since we haven't even looked at or pulled up to the table to sit with wisdom, grace and strength.   (From the sermon, "Prayer" June 18, 2023)
