The Wilderness Experience

The “wilderness” is used metaphorically to describe a place to encounter God. It’s a barren place, filled with obstacles and temptations. But it can be a place where one can discover God’s power and provision. God never intends the wilderness to be a place to stay, but a place to journey through.
